Talking about one special cowboy:

In a short interview with Tom, I was able to find out what made him stand out from the 500 other real estate agents in his area.

I write effective web copy that communicates your unique identity, helps build your search rankings and makes your brand come alive for potential clients.

Excerpts from TomDayRealEstate.com

Tom can find what you're after.

Whether you’re looking for buyers for your current mountain property, or your next dream home, Tom Day can find what you’re looking for. Tom was the top producing Realtor in Summit County, Colorado, in 2006. He's one of several partners and co-owners of Breckenridge Associates Real Estate. This group sells more Breckenridge real estate than any other single agency.

“I’ve lived in Breckenridge for 20 years, and think it’s an incredible place to live. If I had to chose a perfect time to visit I couldn’t. That’s why, I think, so many people are buying Breckenridge real estate as first or second homes.

"When you own Summit County real estate you can ski in the winter, bike in the summer, take advantage of small town life with all the choices of a big city.

"The big bonus is Breckenridge real estate is a great investment."

Hibernating is for bears

Winter is filled with things to do in Summit County. Skiing – eight ski resorts are within an 80-mile radius - Cross-country Skiing, Sledding, Snowmobiling, Skating, Snowshoeing are just a few of the ways you can be out in the sunny, clear mountain air. Some real or invented festivities spice up every winter month: Ullr Fest, Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Competition, Mardi Gras, April Fools Parade, Spring Massive, Christmas and Thanksgiving.

We celebrate summer in a big way, starting with the Breckenridge Festival of Film in June and keep the party going until Octoberfest. Music pours from the Riverwalk Center all summer long from two classical orchestras. Silverthorne and Dillon are hosts the the Alpenglow Festival, another classical chamber group. Every weekend, one town or the other puts on an event -- music on the street or art in the park.

Both summer and winter, the Backstage Theatre in Breckenridge and the Lake Dillon Theatre in Dillon produce a full season of plays. ...

Big Town Choices in a Small Town

Why did President Ford, Goldie Hawn and Michelle Pfeiffer buy homes in the Colorado Mountains? Because our rural resorts are an incredible place to live, and that's also why I sell real estate here.

I've lived in Breckenridge for more than 20 years, year-round, and haven't found a better place to be. Why?

The lifestyle. Small town friendliness makes Breckenridge easy to get around and take care of business. Easy access to skiing, bike paths and hiking trails help me and my family stay fit and involved in healthy activities all year long. The schools are top-notch. The services provided by the town and county are among the best in the country. In fact, Summit County citizens, collectively, have one of the highest overall education levels in the nation.

Quality markets, specialty shops and a few big-box stores make it easy to get whatever I want or need. From a great muffin to French bread and pastries, from a burger to tapas, steak to filet mignon, beer to Bordeaux, great times are available in Summit County restaurants.

Festivals and music play all year in Breckenridge, Frisco, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Dillon and Silverthorne. For example, from June to August nearly every night the Riverwalk Center lights up with a classical concert performed by the Breckenridge Music Festival, a chamber group, or the 88-piece National Repertory Orchestra, or a pop concert.

Probably my favorite event is the Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Competition held every January. More than a dozen teams of snow sculptors come to town and produce works of art from their assigned bits of real estate: a 10 x 10 x 12-foot block of snow. Our snow is some of the finest in the world for skiing and snow carving.

Most years I devote a week to this event, making a sculpture with the Breckenridge team. My teammates regularly laugh at me juggling phone calls and my snow carving blades.

I'm your bloodhound

I've lived in Summit County for more than 20 years and know each corner of it. Like the subtle strengths and weaknesses in every pocket. Little things. I know that homes on the east side of the Blue River valley get an hour or two more sunshine than those on the westside. I know how to find the trails back to condos on Four O'clock and in Warriors Mark and every can predict every hill on the bike path or the route around Lake Dillon.

And big things. Since I have a degree in engineering and experience in construction, I know how to evaluate quality. I have an understanding of our climate and what the best practices are for handling snow loads, snow shedding and snow melt so that you can enjoy winters trouble free. And spend summers getting out in the forest rather than fixing decks, roofs or landscaping.

If sun is what you want, I know where to find it. If it's views, you just tell me where -- the Ten Mile Range, Red Mountain, the Blue River, Lake Dillon? You need a big place, or a mother-in-law apartment or just a good deal? Let me know. I'll offer some suggestions, too. A garage is nice in the winter, and a driveway that easy in the snow. And no, you don't need air conditioning. Summer is never too hot; just right.
