Press Communications: For eight years, I worked in print journalism as a reporter and editor. I also spent time as a press agent.

Arts-Street hired me to communicate their many newsworthy events. Off-the-Wall Urban Arts Show Down needed to be explained -- a city-sponsored program to reduce tagging -- to potential participants.

Communication & Results:

Our campaign included HTML emails, many timed press releases, newsletters, community meeting, continual updates to the web site and social media.

Results were TV coverage in advance and on the day of the event, major print media and great attendance.

For the 2009 event Art for Ransom, Arts Street was interviewed on three networks, reported on five stations, on the radio, advanced in the Denver Post and well attended.

Social media and YouTube were a part of this successful marketing and communication effort.
