Media Coverage for Art for Ransom 2009.

Our efforts produced TV, radio and print coverage, as well as great attendance.

The event was conceptualized by students at the Art Directors Club of Denver's fall competition for Arts Street, a nonprofit targeting at-risk youth. Arts Street provides job training in the creative arts.

We started by enticing artist participants, then communicated the event to long-term supporters of Arts Street.

As artwork was 'kidnapped' and the event neared, our press releases went from a cheery announcement, to provacation, to faux threatening.
